Real Madrid defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Iker-Casillas-c16815 was dramatized
The defender considers http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ronaldo-c31734 as the best player in the world and because of that he doesn’t want him to leave the Santiago Bernabeu.
The Portuguese star did not hint at the possibility of parting his way with the club but his unhappy episode in the beginning of the season made many people think that his future with Los Blancos was uncertain.
Regardless Albiol wants to see his teammates with the club for many years to come.
The centre-back admitted that he doesn’t know if Ronaldo will sign a new contract but the one thing he is sure of is that he is the best player in the world.
"I don't know if he'll renew his contract or not, but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 is the best in the world.”
"And we want him to be with us for as long as possible."
The Spaniard then turned his attention on the much-publicized saga regarding the omission of Casillas from the starting line-up.
The veteran goalkeeper was dropped to the bench in Real Madrid’s last match with Malaga in the Primera Division. The defending champions lost that game 3-2 and many people objected to the omission of Casillas.
When asked why he put the veteran custodian on the bench, Jose Mourinho simply said that it was a ' technical' decision.
However, Albiol thinks the overall reaction to that change was blown out of proportion.
"After 10 years as the No.1 keeper, the day Casillas is on the bench is a surprise for everyone," the defender admitted.
"But at the same time, the controversy it's generated has been too much. Even Iker said so.”

The 27-year-old has concluded his remarks on the note that his teammates should forget about what has just happened and focus their energy on winning trophies next year.
"We should forget about these things that come from outside and work as hard as possible to win trophies in 2013."
The defending champions are now 16 points behind their bitter-rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, after their 3-2 shock defeat at the hands of Malaga.
They are now sitting on the 3rd position in the Primera Division.
