I need badly a service manual or schematics for Albrecht ae4180. I just brought it second hand. The transceiver works, but the microphone has some PTT and connections problems. I tinkered for a while with the switch and pin connections. Unfortunately, I accidentally shorted something (I think it has something to do with the mic's center voltage pin and the RX-TX switch or input). An electronic component went on smoke, but I couldn't locate the burnt part or identify if it was a diode, a capacitor, a resistor, and an IC. I already used a magnifying glass to locate the burnt part, but all components seems to be intact (no cracks, no burn)Please help. I know this is a German made CB Radio, and I already looked for documentations on the web, but they are very limited (and most of them ar written in Dutch language). I need to identify which part went up on smoke and possibly damaged. My unit still powered up. It goes through channels 1 to 80, and with modified AM/ FM switchable bands on all channels. It has fully functional LCD display and switches. But no receive and transmit, though I can see a 1 bar in the RX signal indicator on both AM and FM band. The channel switching becomes too slow too, as a result of the damage.I hope I could still put this lovely radio to work, just hoping that radio's microprocessor still works.Thank you soo much!!!
