in my opinion the weirdest album cover is by pink floyd the division bell. The most boring album i think is white pony. and the coolest album i think would have to be Guns N Roses appetite for destruction

By the way JS...great question, and I really would have liked to have answered this a little better, as I'm a huge fan of album cover art! Sometimes they can be as interesting as the music itself! Most Disturbing...Edgar Broughton Band self titled...see the naked man hanging upside down by his ankles amongst the beef/hind quarters in the meat cooler...if you look closely you will see it. It's one of many classics brought to us by Hipgnosis, who were also responsible for bringing us album covers by Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Bad Company, Brand X, etc etc.

Boring: Anything by a boy band, they are all retarded c**p with the band on the cover.

how about considering the following as being candidates for some of the greatest/most interesting/whatever album covers of all time (almost only rock & pop, a variegated bunch, I hope):

1. Captain Beefheart's "Trout Mask Replica."

2. Miles Davis's "b*****s Brew."

3. Eric Dolphy's "Out to Lunch."

4. ELP's "Brain Salad Surgery" (although Keith Emerson should have long ago ceased and desisted from doing what he does).

5. Eno's "Another Green World."

6. Foreigner's "Head Games" (yeah they suck, but this is one sleazy good album cover, especially for its time).

7. King Crimson's "In the Court of the Crimson King."

8. Joni Mitchell's "Hejira."

9. Roxy Music's "Country Life" (unlike Foreigner, they don't suck, but on this list for much the same reason as "Head Games").

10. Sonic Youth's "Daydream Nation."

Best; Overnight Sensation-Zappa (Funny and lots of odd stuff in it)

Boring; The White Album- The Fab Four  (good music tho)

Disturbing; Dangerous Age- Bad Company (The kid smoking bothers me)

With all the different covers some albums had, you could go on forever with this one.
