  2. I suspect not. You would need a light hydrocarbon or oil - sunflower oil might do the trick.

    Am intrigued as to why you ask, though.

  3. Ghee is nothing but saturated hydrocarbon which are non-polar in nature. Alcohol containing an OH group is polar in nature. And according to chemical laws "like dissolves like" Alcohol cannot dissolve Ghee.
