Alcohol + allergy medication?

Question

If you have a drink, say one bottle of beer, and THEN you take an allergy pill, what kind of effects can that have? Has anyone done it before? I know it says on the bottle that you're not so supposed to do it, but if it happened by accident, what's the worst that can happen?

You'll be fine,it'll make you a little drowsier that's all,the alcohol will over power the pills,trust me i used to drink and take stuff on purpose.I've been drinking for well over 30yrs unfortunately.

alcohol dehydrates you.  so does antihistamines like in allergy medication.

I had a benydryl once after having a beer and i was a little sleepy and maybe a little woozy, but nothing bad happened.
