They all make your breath smell...and anyone who says vodka probably hasn't actually had it. Vodka is an unflavored liquor...not a flavorless. It still contains ethanol and it will still make your breath smell.

As much as I support everyone's right to drink, if you need to hide your drinking you want to think about your motivation for drinking. When used responsibly alcohol is a wonderful thing, full of many benefits. When used improperly it is one of the most dangerous things out there.

The alcohol is in the air you are breathing out.  It is in your blood, it is in your exhalations.

You may mask the smell of alcohol on your breath but the molecules are in the breath.

Vodka has the least aroma but the alcohol in the blood system is what you are smelling on the breath.

That is why someone who had a lot the night before you can still smell it on them the next day.

If you're asking for a breathalizer, then it doesn't matter; it judges the molecules, not the scent.

If you're trying to hide the fact that you're drinking or don't want to appear like an alcoholic, then you need help.

If it's neither of those things and you just hate the smell of booze on your breath, try cinnamon or mint schnapps. This way, your breath smells fresh, like you just had a stick of gum.

Well, isopropyl alcohol will not smell that much, given the after effects of drinking it. If you can't find that one, methanol works similarly. (That's a rubbing alcohol will kill you so you stop breathing joke). Ethanol is probably one of the most obvious ones to detect. Unfortunately, that's in beer, wine, AND spirits. Rats...
