Alcohol testing before leaving to ARMY basic...

Question

I wanted to know how long a couple shots would stay in my husbands system... He leaves for MEPS at 2:30 in the morning, will probably end up there around 4:30-5, probably tested around 5-5:30 in the morning, that gives about 8-9 hours at the shortest amount of time (from the time he gets picked up) Will it be out of his system by then?

they usually dont test for alcohol unless he comes in smelling like it, my hubby was drinking the night before meps as long as he is sober he should be fine..
