Alcohol transport between?

I live in Saskatchewan and am 18. The legal drinking age in Alberta is 18, but the drinking age in Saskatchewan is 19. Can i legally go to Alberta, buy alcohol there, and then drive back to Saskatchewan?

You cannot buy your alcohol in Alberta and then carry it back to Saskatchewan to drink it.  You may drive to Alberta, consume the alcohol you purchase and then drive home ... but I suggest that you get a room and drive home the next day, when you are sober again, since if you were stopped in Saskatchewan while you had alcohol in your system you would still be arrested for DUI no matter what province you drank the alcohol in.

  3. i live in ontario and have the same problem (18 in quebec and 19 in ontario) and u can buy it legally and consume it in the other province but u can't bring it over the border legally, but no one will know if u are smart about it. there isn't a lot of border control so as long as u dont get pulled over u will be okay!

  4. You can buy it in Alberta and drink it there, but if you bring it back to Saskatchewan you will be breaking the law.
