Alcoholic drinks on flight?

I am flying from Seattle to Toronto and from Toronto to Heathrow, Air Canada - Economy. I'm also flying from the UK to Athens, Olympus Air - Business. I'm Canadian and 19 years old (legal in Canada).

1. On which, if any, of these flights will I be able to drink alcohol?

2. Will the cost be reflected on my ticket or does it work like a cash bar with no costs reflected on my tickets and I pay per drink.

3. What does a regular rum and coke run for?

  1. According to the Air Canada website, they charge $6 CAD for alcoholic beverages in Economy on flights within North America (Seattle to Toronto). You pay with cash and the cost in US currency MAY be $5 but may also be $6. If possible, take ones and fives in both currencies so you can pay with exact change.

Alcoholic beverages are free on Air Canada's interational flights (Toronto to London).

Drinks are always free in Business. When you check in for the flight to Athens ask about the Business Class club that Olympus uses at Heathrow. Clubs are much nicer places to wait than the public departure lounges, and drinks & snacks are usually free.

Hope you have a good trip!

  2. You will not be able to drink on airlines unless you are over 21. Proof of age is required.

    Period. Sorry.

    Regards,

    Dan

However, I called Air Canada, and 18+ can drink on their flights. The charge is $5 CAD per drink. You will need to pay in cash when served, and the flight attendants appreciate exact change, so take some $5 and $1 with you.

  3. i'm not sure if you can drink or not.

but if you can...the cost will not be reflected in your ticket. you pay the flight attendant per drink. it's usually around $5.

  4. you will be able to drink on tronto to headthrow because in toronto and headthrow you should be able to drink liquor

    drink responsibly

  5. I hope your flying first class. The airlines are cutting down on

weight, to save fuel, so drinks are for first class only. Don't

worry about the pilot, he has a "fifth" of his own. <}:-})

  6. Try some moonshine, I'm from the south and the rednecks drink it all the time.

  7. your legal in canada not sure when you'll be able to drink ,if at all from seattle, drinks are cash they usually ask for correct dollars n cost is about 5 bucks per drink

  8. most air hostesses don't ask for ID especally in business. It's free in business with nearly all airlines. UK legal age is 18 and athens im not sure but its not older than 18. so you will definetly be served going to athens

  9. I imagine that they'll serve to you while your in canada but when your in the U.S. they may not.

Its usually either a cash bar or they'll swipe a credit card but if it is a cash bar they expect exact change.

drinks are generally 5.00 to keep things nice and simple.
