Aldactone and pregnancy

How long doeas Aldactone and its hormonal effects stay in the body? After how long from stopping the medication can a woman get pregnant without haing any bad effect on the baby? Are 2 weeks enough?

    Spironolactone has a half-life of only 85 minutes.  This means, even after just one day, there would be less than 1/100,000 (one-one hundred thousandth, or 0.001% if you will) of the original dose left.

    However, spironolactone is metabolized into canrenoate, which has a longer half-life: 10-35 hours.  Still, even at 35 hours, after two weeks there would be only about 0.13% of the original dose left.  (If you use 10 hours, there would be less than one-in-13-BILLION of it.)
