The class 2 Foz Electrical Handicap saw him doing a wonderful job all the way through. He was always prominent and despite plenty of pressure, the 12-1 chance did not lose confidence.
In the hands of Barry McHugh, he had a very good chance, but Stirring Ballad and Trail Blaze proved too strong. As a result, he missed the runner-up spot only by a short head’s distance.
Although he could not taste success, the form he showed was good enough to believe that he can follow up. An equally solid show can see him taking the gold home in today’s fiercely competitive affair.
