The Russian football analyst has expressed his views on CSKA Moscow’s Rasmus Elm, Spartak Moscow’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Kim-c20955 Kallstrom and Anzhi Makhachkala’s Lacina Traore
Former Dynamo Moscow defender, Aleksandr Bubnov, has shared his thoughts on the ongoing summer transfer window, forecasting the expectations associated with the newcomers in the Russian Premier League.
CSKA Moscow managed to sign http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/AZ-c38571 Alkmaar and Anderlecht respectively. The Moscow-based club reportedly paid six million Euros for the Sweden International, who signed a three-year contract at Luzhniki
stadium.
Bubnov has admitted that the aforementioned players are of high-class, expressing his desire to see the players in action. However, the Russian analyst is of the belief that it will take some time before Elm adjusts to the new
league.
Kim Kallstrom was one of the few signings Spartak Moscow made since the start of the transfer window.
The Moscow-based club signed the Swedish international from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 last month. Though the details of the contract are yet to be known, Kallstrom cost the Red-whites a reported three million Euros.
Bubnov insisted that the 29-year-old midfielder was surplus to requirements at Stade de Gerland. The Russian expert, meanwhile, told that Kallstrom is not the kind of player that can help the Spartachi in the UEFA Champions League.
Spartak will play in the arguably most prestigious tournament at club level after finishing 2nd on the league table. They are going to face Turkish side, Fenerbahce, in the European qualifying round.
Commenting on Lacina Traore’s transfer to Anzhi Makhachkala from Kuban Krasnodar in June, Bubnov has tipped the Ivorian striker to maintain his fitness at the mega rich Dagestani club.
“Kallstrom will help Spartak in the league but is unlikely to strengthen the team in the Champions League. The Swede came because Lyon, a good enough club does not want him.
“The same goes for Traore. But, he can be a success if he can avoid injuries in the near future.”
It is still too early to draw any conclusions about Elm, but I do not expect anything special from him.” The Soviet Cup winner was quoted as saying.
Bubnov went on to express his desire to see more good players join Zenit St. Petersburg this summer.
