Aleksei Popov believes FK Amkar Perm can beat Zenit St. Petersburg in the Russian Premier League
FK Amkar Perm recently missed a golden chance to claim three points against Zenit St. Petersburg after conceding an equalizer away from home.

Popov insisted that the Red-Blacks outplayed Zenit in almost every area of the field. The central defender revealed that he is delighted with the team performance against arguably the best team in Russia. Popov highlighted that Amkar missed a terrific chance
to claim the three points after conceding a well taken goal.
The former FK Rubin Kazan player highlighted that Zenit played offensive football in second half of the match. Popov revealed that Amkar head coach, Rashid Rakhimov, instructed
Amkar to mark the Meshki latest addition, Domenico Criscito.
Popov revealed that the Krasno-chernye tried to maximize their lead but Zenit were strong defensively. The Russian national highlighted that if they had managed to score another goal than the final result could have been different.
The former FC Zvezda Perm heaped praise on the Amkar goalkeeper by revealing that he is their first choice custodian and they were waiting for him to reover from an injury. The stopper revealed that it is a great honour to play in the Russian Premier League
with the Navozniki.
