The Bianconeri star has stated that the Old Lady outfit is favourites to win the Lega but went on to state that caution needed to be exercised by the Turin side.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Del-Piero-c4726 has been with the Bianconeri outfit since 1993 and has a keen perception of knowing when the title of “favourites” can be branded to a team, and he
has stated his perception that the Old Lady outfit are odds on favourites to lift the Scudetto by the end of the season.
Their nearest rivals AC Milan are three points adrift of Juventus and are closely following the Serie A leaders to make their way back to the top. However, with the season
coming to an end in a month’s time, the former Padova starlet is of the opinion that Juventus are in the driving seat and the Scudetto is theirs to lose.

Their next Serie A outing is away to Novara, who under Attilio Tesser have managed to get some momentum back in the Lega. Novara’s last league match was against the third
placed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775, and they managed to overcome the Biancocelesti threat by outscoring the Biancazzurri 2-1. Even though there is the grimmest of hopes of Novara retaining their Serie A status by the end of the season, they are still fighting tooth and nail to
keep the dream alive.
Del Piero went on to state that he would concede victory of the Scudetto till it was mathematically impossible for AC Milan to claim the title. He told his side to fend
off any complacency creeping into the squad and further mentioned their position at the top of the table, and commented:
"It is not superstition, but we can only talk about the Scudetto when we have mathematically won.
We are in a clearly privileged position, but if you look at what has happened this season in the league, you realise the dangers which lurk behind every game.”
The striker further commented on the game against Attilio Tesser’s men and commented:
"The match against Novara will be hard and we must give our best. It will be the most important match of the season."
Del Piero speaks amidst immense speculation on his own future.
