The experienced star has not hidden his excitement ahead of the second-leg clash against AC Milan; also expresses his concern for Eric Abidal and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Fabrice-Muamba-c13216.
Juventus take a 2-1 lead into the second-leg of the Coppa Italia semi-final; however the two teams are in different circumstances than the last time they met.
AC Milan had not been doing so well when they played in the first-leg, whereas Juventus were flying high.
Juventus eventually won the first-leg 2-1, with Martin Caceres scoring a brace on his second debut for the club. However, times have changed and the form of the two teams has changed as well. Even though
the Lady Killers have remained unbeaten until now, they have drawn too many matches in the Serie A. On the other hand, the Rossoneri have been flying high in all competitions. The Diavolo have qualified into the quarter-finals of the Champions League and are
now the league leaders of Serie A.
Given this form of results, the legendary striker has called on the team to exercise unity if they are to qualify for the final. Despite their recent string of draws, the Bianconeri were on fire against Fiorentina
scoring five goals in the match.
The Juve veteran was given an interview to Tuttosport and was quoted as saying:
"We will play the return of the semi-final of the Coppa on Tuesday, and it will be a tough match. We really needed this weekend's win over Fiorentina. It's the perfect preparation for the match versus Milan,
and a real confidence boost."
The attacker would be starting in the Coppa Italia fixture, after Antonio Conte confirmed news of his inclusion.
Del Piero also spared thoughts for Muamba and Abidal, wishing them speedy recoveries and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Good-Luck-c39444, further stating:
"My thoughts are with Muamba and Abidal. It's impossible not to be upset with what has happened. You can't think of a football pitch as a place where people suffer like this. We are all supporting Fabrice,
and I'm confident that Eric will win this battle, too."
Muamba is currently in the London chest hospital where he is in critical condition after his heart-attack in the match against Tottenham. Eric Abidal is set to have a liver transplant in the near future.
