The legendary Bianconeri superstar has mentioned that his journey with Juve has been unforgettable, and still
cannot fathom that this is his last season at the club.
This has been the most difficult campaign of his long and illustrious career with the Old Lady, as the striker has been a bit
part player for the team this campaign. Del Piero is a household name all across Europe and it was at the Turin outfit that he developed himself into one of the most feared strikers across Europe.

During his glittering career with the club he has won an impressive number of 15 major honours in the 20 campaigns he has been
at the club. He moved to the Lady killers in 1993 from Padova, where he was still developing into a quality striker.

Del Piero was given his debut at the club by the former Juventus coach, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Giovanni-c14985 Trapattoni, who recently urged the two parties
to reconsider their decision and continue their long relationship. Antonio Conte has used the striker sparingly, even though Del Piero has performed well, it still has not convinced the former Juventus player to consider him as a regular starter.

While giving an interview to the Italian version of Vanity Fair magazine, the striker reflected on his life at the club and
how things have changed. He remarked:
“These 20 years have been full of emotions, with some extraordinary moments and others hard - I have felt the thrill of writing
almost all the Bianconeri’s records. But now things have changed. [This season] has been the most difficult of my life, because I was faced with a reality that I had never known - that of someone who plays little or not at all.”
The striker was quizzed on the surprise he had received after the Juventus president announced the severing of ties between
the two parties. He remarked:
“It surprised me. But a captain should never forget his duties and what he represents. Juventus has taken the utmost to try
to win the League and Coppa Italia. We do not need controversy, which, moreover, has never been a part of my career.”
Juventus have been heavily linked with a move to the MLS.
