The newly appointed Samp manager has stressed upon the need for the club to finish their transfer business as soon as possible, and reveals the 4-3-3 system as his favourite formation.
Ciro Ferrara has sidelined all notions that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Del-Piero-c4726 could make a move to Sampdoria, stating that such wonderful ideas can only be realized in dreams.
The former Italy under-21 coach accepted the offer from the Samp, and was appointed the manager of the newly-promoted side following FIGC’s courtesy to release the tactician from their contract.
There has been a lot of speculation in the press surrounding the future of the Del Piero, and the Blucerchiati is being considered as a very likely destination for the veteran.
Ferrara snubbed all such rumours as figment of a creative imagination, and insisted that there is little truth to the notion.
The former youth manager insisted that while he would love to have Del Piero, he lacks the means to realize such a dream.
The ex-Juventus coach went on to stress that the Bianconeri legend does not fancy any other shirt since his departure from the Turin giants.
While talking to the press, the 45-year-old said:
“Del Piero to Sampdoria? It’s pure fantasy football. For what I know, he does not want to wear another shirt [in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926] after wearing Juventus’ for so many years.”
Ferrara then turned his attention towards more realistic matters, and stressed that he wants to get done with the transfer business as soon as possible, and start working on the preparations for the next season.
The former Azzurri chief went on to reveal that survival in Serie A is his first objective for the upcoming season, and insisted that he will look to build his team strategy around the 4-3-3 system.
“I wish to secure our main transfer objectives as soon as possible so as to work with a complete staff. Our ultimate goal is to remain in the League without any concerns. I want to identify the points in the team from which I can create a 4-3-3, which would
be my ideal formation.” He added.
