The Juventus striker’s agent has stated that his client wants to have a talk with the Old Lady coach and management, before considering an offer from another club.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-c4710 Matri’s agent has revealed the perplexing situation faced by the Old Lady striker after receiving an offer from Fiorentina, and has stated that he will hold talks with Juventus about his future before making a decision.
The 27-year-old has a contract with the Bianconeri that extends to 2017, but the Old Lady are apparently keen to part company with their forward in the summer transfer window.
Fiorentina have reportedly made a bid for the Vecchia Signora-man, but the striker is undecided on his future as yet.
Matri’s agent admitted that his client is going through a tough time of his career, and stressed that they want a clear view of Juventus’ plans for the goal scorer’s future before making a decision about interest from other clubs.
The former Cagliari striker’s representative denied receiving any offer from Fiorentina or other outfits, but maintained that their first priority for now is to have a revealing talk with the Old Lady about the future of their association.
While talking to Calcio Sport 24, Tulio Tinti said:
“He is going through a delicate time. We would like to talk to the club and the Coach before we evaluate the situation. Fiorentina? We haven’t had any contact with them or other clubs – we want to speak with Juventus first.”
Matri was Juventus’ leading scorer in the 2011-12 campaign scoring 10 goals in the 30 league appearances this season, but lost his spot in the starting eleven of the team towards the end of the campaign.
The Old Lady are on the lookout for a top class striker after being crowned the Champions of Serie A, who will propel the team to new heights in the next season’s UEFA Champions League.
The the inclusion of a star in the Bianconeri's attacking line-up can see the importance of Matri further diminish in the team.
The former Cagliari striker joined the Turin giants in the January of 2011, and has also received a lot of interest from Russian outfits.
