A.C Milan defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Nesta-c4735, has expressed his desire of ending his club career at the San Siro.
The stopper has entered into his 10th year with the Italian Champions, and his love for the club is increasing day by day. Nesta has enjoyed his time at San Siro thus far, and wants to end his career in the same way.
The defender admitted that playing for Milan is not an easy http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 because the standards are very high, and sometimes a player has to play three games a week. However, he believes that he has reached a point in his career where he
can only manage one game a week.
While talking to the reporters, Nesta said:
“I want to end my career in a dignified way, preferably with Milan. Here the level is high and you play every three days. Maybe I will cut back on the commitments, once a week may prove enough. Staying in Milan for 10 years was
my goal - my family is settled, we’re fine here.”
The 35-year-old has made more than 300 appearances for the Rossoneri, and he wants to end his career with club in a respectable manner.
Nesta has been playing top level football for more than 19 years, and he is extremely happy with what he has achieved thus far. The former Italian international has been a victim of several injury problems throughout his career,
and he admitted that apart from the injuries, he is completely satisfied.
“Football is my life - when I eat I even watch it on television. Aside from the injury problems, I am happy with my career, football has given me everything. I have taken a lot of satisfaction.” added the former Italian international
The defender made 261 appearances in his almost nine-year stay at the Stadio Olimpico Rome before moving to Milan. He also went onto represent the Italian national team on 78 occasions.
Nesta’s partnership with Paolo Maldini made Milan one of the best defensive units in the world. He has won 10 major trophies with the Italian Champions.
