The Diavolo defender rejects the Old Lady and remains coy over his San Siro future; the defender remains optimistic over new deal at Milan
AC Milan defender, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Nesta-c4735, has denied any possibility of him moving to Juventus in the summer transfer window.
Recent reports in the Italian media suggested that the veteran stopper will join his former team-mate, Andrea Pirlo. Pirlo ended his almost 10-year allegiance with the Italian Champions, and left them to join their rivals on a
free transfer.
Nesta has rejected talks linking him with the Old Lady, and suggests that he will never move Milan’s rivals. The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lazio-c39775 defender will see his contract run out after the end of the ongoing season, and he is yet to sign an
extension. However, the former Italian international insists that he will evaluate his options at the end of the season, but one thing is for sure that he will not be joining the Lady Killers.
The 36-year-old admitted that he does not have an agent, so the news about his links with other clubs is totally rubbish. He insisted that if any club is interested in his signature, they should directly contact him.
While to the Milan Channel, Nesta said:
“We’ll have to see about my future. We’ll assess everything at the end of the season. I certainly won’t be joining Juventus, this is for sure. Things will have to be evaluated once the campaign ends. However, I want to make it
clear that I’m not going to Juve. I don’t have an agent and if someone wants me then they have to talk to me direct. Nobody has been in touch with me, I have no need to go to Juve and they don’t need me – it’s not a problem.”
Despite being in the twilight of his career, Nesta has been extremely influential for the Italian Champions, and has played a huge role in the club’s recent success. The defender has formed a formidable pairing with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903
in the heart of the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 defence.
Nesta has gone onto make more than 300 appearances for the Rossoneri, and has helped them in winning 10 major trophies.
