There are those who suggested that the Juventus playmaker has not been in the form of last year, and Tacchinardi has advised him to take due rest for his excursions.
Andrea Pirlo has found it difficult to find the form that propelled the Bianconeri outfit to the great heights they achieved during the course of last season. Pirlo was undoubtedly the best player of the Turin outfit last year as Antonio Conte’s men went
on to lift the Serie A title.
Pirlo hardly missed any match for the Bianconeri giants and went on to play more than 35 games in their 2011-12 domestic campaign. After the domestic season in Europe was over, the European championships started which saw Andrea Pirlo don the Italian national
jersey for Euro 2012, which was being played in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983.
Pirlo was phenomenal in the European tournament as well and was instrumental in them reaching the finals of the European Championship, which they lost out to the might of the reigning champions of Europe, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011.
For all the heroics of the former AC Milan deep-lying playmaker, he has not been able to replicate the heroics of the last year. The international tournament decreased the time that the Italian had of getting appropriate amount of rest, and many have touted
that as a reason for his lacklustre showing in the matches so far.
Alessio Tacchinardi has gone on to state that he concurs with the notion that the playmaker needs to take rest to be back to his best form. He also went on to state that in order for Pirlo to find his lost form, he needs to be looking to conserve energy
from now on.
The former midfielder was talking to the Corriere dello Sport and he went on to state:
“I would let him rest up. It would be opportune for him to stop for a bit, to spend some time in the pits. Of course he is fundamental for Juventus, but he needs to be the player he was last term. He perhaps should have been given more of a holiday.”
Pirlo was taken off by Juve in the second half after a lethargic performance against Fiorentina.
