Alex Ariza says Manny Pacquiao can even fight Juan Manuel Marquez next Saturday – Boxing news
Alex Ariza, who is the conditioning trainer of the eight-division world champion, Manny Pacquiao, has revealed Pacquiao is in the best shape of his life ahead of his upcoming much-anticipated trilogy bout with the current World Boxing Association Super,
World Boxing Organisation and The Ring Lightweight World Champion, Juan Manuel Marquez.
Pacquiao, who is currently the World Boxing Organisation Welterweight World Champion (Super Champion), is set to take on the Mexican Dinamita, Marquez, on November 12, 2011 at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Ariza stated Pacquiao can even fight
Marquez this weekend.
“If we could, he’d fight next Saturday. He’s just got a whole different approach to this one. He looks really good. Hopefully he doesn’t get burnt out or bored and he just stays, you know, focused on it,” Alex Ariza told Fighthype.com.
Ariza in the end insisted Pacquiao is taking this fight personally and that is the reason why he has brought him for training five weeks prior to the bout.
He said, “I think so, for sure. He told me in the beginning. I was supposed to go out the same time as everybody else, but he brought me out a week earlier and he says, “You know, this one is personal.” He doesn’t like him; they don’t like each other.”
Pacquiao and Marquez will be taking on each other for the third time and this is one of the most eagerly awaited fights of the recent time, as their previous two fights ended up in a controversy.
The first time both fighters met was back in May 2004 and their fight ended up in a highly controversial draw. Their second meeting came four years later in March 2008 and this time Pacquiao secured a split decision over Marquez, yet another controversial
ending. Therefore, this time both fighters will certainly put on a great show, as their fight will decide who the real winner is.
Let’s see if Pacquiao can really win against Marquez once again because Marquez has also waited three years to avenge his defeat.
