Manchester United manager Alex Ferguson and striker, Wayne Rooney have gone on to praise Ashley Young, who made his debut as a Red Devil, this past Wednesday.
The former Aston Villa winger and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/New-England-Revolution-c40026. The match resulted in United cruising to victory by a score line of four goals to one.
Young started the game on the left flank, while Luis http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nani-c27299 was asked to play on the right. Throughout the game, the winger impressed almost everyone who was watching, as his versatility, pace and over all brilliance shone throughout his performance.
Alex Ferguson, when talking about the winger, went on to admit that he could also be used as a second striker, the same way that Aston Villa had been using him, as he went on to state: "That's been his natural position with Aston Villa until last season, when they started putting him in behind the striker, in sort of an advanced midfield role like the way we use Rooney.”
The manager then went on to admit that the player possessed some phenomenal abilities and was quite easily one of the best in the business.
He then went on to add:"The qualities you saw tonight are what we expected"
"He's a fantastic crosser of the ball. I think he hit three fantastic crosses in the game.”
Manchester United striker, Wayne Rooney seemed to be delighted with Young’s performances. The forward went on to state that he admired the work that the winger put in and that he was looking forward to taking to the field even more frequently, with Young on the flank.
Rooney is quoted to have said: "Everyone knows what Ashley is capable of"
"He put in some big crosses tonight, so we are looking forward to playing some games with him.”
The forward then went on to add that the future was dependant on the team combining together and working as a unit, as he added:

"It’s a good young team, hopefully we will all click and hopefully we will have a successful team."
United seem to have gone on to add some serious quality to the team. With Young now being amongst the mix, the Red Devils seem to be all the more lethal than they were last season. Nonetheless, should the team tinker around a little more with their squad and formation, they could potentially be on course to going all the way once again, maybe this time around they could even go all the way in the UEFA Champions League.
