Alex Ferguson believes Manchester City now have the advantage

Manchester Untied manager, Alex Ferguson believes that Manchester City have the advantage in the Premier League, following his sides defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League.

Manchester United travelled to the Sports Direct Arena to take on Newcastle United in the Premier League last night.
However despite everyone assuming that the match would end with the Red Devils picking up all three points, it was Newcastle who took home the win.

Given the scenario, United could see Tottenham pull level with them on points, should the team manage to win their game in hand against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019.
Not only would this blow the title race wide open, but it could see a number of fans point their fingers at Alex Ferguson.
The Red Devils boss also believes that this defeat is now going to help City create a massive lead at the top of the table, but admitted that his side would do their best to try and even things out.
When talking about the impact of the game, Ferguson is quoted to have said: “This is not a time to be panicking. We've got the personal experience to cope with that”
“Losing the game at this time of the year - you don't want it, it sometimes can happen, you've seen some of the results recently.

“But obviously we need to get the show on the road in terms of the run-in, particularly in March and April.”
The manager then went on to talk about City and how they had managed to take their opportunity, while United scuffed theirs.
He then added: “We had the opportunity. We played tonight, they played last night. They won theirs, we lost ours so it's advantage to them of course”
Ferguson will now be hoping to see massive display from his side this coming weekend, as United take on City in the FA Cup, with the derby bragging rights on the line.
