Manchester United manager http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson is disappointed with his sides loss to Liverpool and isn’t sure of what went wrong in the game.
During the game, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Park-Ji-Sung-c29147 went on to level for the Red Devils later on in the game. Just when it seemed like the game would end in a draw, Dirk
Kuyt went on to score the winning goal of the game just minutes before the referee blew the whistle to signal the end of the game.
Despite watching the whole game, the United manager just isn’t sure what went wrong for his team and feels that perhaps his side were a little unlucky to taste defeat in the game.
“I don’t know how we lost it, it was a really good performance by us”
“But I think when you look at it in the context of the FA Cup things like that can happen. One break away one bad break against you and you can lose a game.”
“It’s a sudden death situation, and we’ve experienced it many times over the years, but it was a bad blow because we didn’t deserve that."
“In fact we should have won the game, we were the better team, but that’s FA Cup football I am afraid, and it’s not the first time it’s happened.”
The manager feels that the goals could have easily been avoided, but his team just didn’t focus enough defensively to keep their side in the game.
A lot of blame has also fallen on http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 De Gea’s shoulders for conceding the first goal, since the keeper seemed to go missing during the corner kick, right before Agger nodded the ball into the net.
The manager has not yet confirmed if the keeper would be dropped for the next game due to his performance, but he is more than likely to sit out the next game on the bench.
It will also be an interesting wait to see just what the manager does to try and get his side back to their best following the defeat.
