Alex Ferguson has faith in David Moyes – Football News
Manchester United’s retiring manager, Alex Ferguson, has gone on to praise his successor, David Moyes, once again, as he feels he is the right man to take over the reins at Old Trafford.
When Ferguson announced that he was going to retire at the end of the current Premier League season, a number of people were left in awe. This is because the Red Devils boss had been in charge of the team for
over twenty six years. Hardly anyone could have imagined Manchester United working without Ferguson, but that is something that they have to cope with in the near future.
It was later revealed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-c10409 Moyes, the current Everton manager, would come in to take over as the new Manchester United boss. This change was met with a lot of doubt from the club’s fans, but Ferguson has
gone on to defend Moyes. He feels that Moyes has everything what takes to be successful and the hard work he puts in with teams is going to end up proving useful in the future.
"I know David is hard working and has an integrity about him," declared Ferguson. "He has a work ethic about him and he is a serious football man. I think those are the important qualities he is going to need.
It is not always a golden path of riches. You have hard days and difficult days. Especially with the losses, you definitely have to sacrifice and persevere.
"He has got a perseverance about him – look at what he has done at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c13019, 11 years without any tremendous financial backing but he has persevered with it and created some decent teams in the last few years."
Ferguson is set to manage his last Manchester United game this coming weekend, having already managed his last home game for the team, last weekend. Moyes will come in and take over during the summer, as he looks
to shape up the team to his standards. It is now anybody’s guess as to just what the future holds in store for the Red Devils.
