Alex Ferguson hopeful Manchester United can go on to beat both Arsenal and Chelsea – Premier League
Manchester United’s manager, Alex Ferguson, has supported his side to continue their winning streak and beat Arsenal and Chelsea on back to back weekends. The manager came forth with these comments following a very late win over Everton this past weekend,
which saw the Red Devils win by a goal to nil following a goal in the last ten minutes of the game thanks to Javier ‘Chicharito’ Hernandez.
As a result of the win, United are now sitting six points clear of Chelsea and nine points clear of Arsenal, with both teams yet to visit Old Trafford. However, Ferguson is more than convinced that his team is going to emerge victorious from both those encounters
and eventually go on to win the Premier League title.
When addressing the issue of his upcoming games, Ferguson is reported to have said, “The thing that puzzles me is that I keep hearing that we still have got to play Arsenal and Chelsea, as if we are going to lose them. Why can't we win these games? Why should
people say that we can't beat Chelsea at home or go to the Emirates and win?”
The manager then went on to state that one of the reasons that the team was doing so well was because of the positive attitude that the players were showing. The manager then went on to state that should the players not get carried away, then the Premier
League is in the bag.
Ferguson then went on to add, “We just need to keep our heads down, don't get carried away. The way [the players] are going about their business gives them an excellent chance. I think there is a winning attitude among them all. They have a refusal to give
in and a determination to do better.”
One of the players who has gone on to have a brilliant run-in at United this term is Javier Hernandez. The Mexican international has scored a number of crucial goals for the team and has ultimately led United to the safe position they are in at the moment.
According to most experts, in the upcoming games against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 and Arsenal, United are going to have to try and milk the best out of Chicharito and that could lead them to cruising through the rest of the season.
With just four games left in the season, Chelsea and Arsenal are going to have to put maximum pressure on United when they travel to Old Trafford. If they fail to do so, without a shadow of a doubt, the Red Devils will be English Champions at the end of
the season.
