Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson hopes to get Paul Pogba to agree to terms over a new contract in the near future, as he looks to keep the player at Old Trafford.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Paul-c29347 Pogba played last night against Stoke and hopes to tie the player down on a long term contract in the near future.
United took on Stoke in the Premier League and following two goals from the penalty spot, which were scored by Javier Hernandez and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Dimitar-Berbatov-c11254, United cruised to victory.
However, Pogba, who came on in the second half managed to steal all of the crowds applause in the game.
The eighteen year old is currently negotiating a contract with the Red Devils, but based on how he performed in the game, Ferguson hopes to finalize a deal in the near future.
The United boss was filled with praise for the young midfielder and when talking about his performance in the game is quoted to have said: "Pogba did very well. He’s got great talent and has a tremendous physique for a young boy. You can’t believe he’s 18.
I was very pleased [with his performance]. It was a good time to bring him on as we were in control of the game and it gave him a chance to be confident with the ball"
Ferguson then confirmed that a deal was being agreed with the player as he spoke and it was only a matter of time, before the midfielder put pen to paper to a long term contract.
"We are negotiating his contract at the moment. It’s a bit complicated as he’s changed his agent a couple of times. The boy wants to stay, I think that’s obvious."
Pogba won over nearly everyone who watched him play last night. The youngster managed to play along http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Michael-Carrick-c25282 as though he was a seasoned professional and didn’t seem to skip a beat.
His crossing and passing were quite simply phenomenal and he could very well be the reason for Ferguson not spending in the transfer market.
Should Pogba continue to play the way he did last night, he could easily go down as one of the best young talents in the world.
