Transfer Update: Sir Alex Ferguson looking to raid Napoli, signings expected
Manchester United’s manager, Alex Ferguson is looking to be back to his best as he is planning an audacious swoop to bring in two of Napoli’s best attacking players. The players that the manager is hoping to lure to Old Trafford are Marek
Hamsik and Edinson Cavani. The manager is well aware of the fact that the two players won’t come cheap since they are two of the most prized assets that the Italian team has, however the Scotsman was promised to be given a generous amount of money to spend
in the transfer market and as a result he is looking to make the move for the players.
Napoli who were once a struggling team in the Italian Serie A, have witnessed a major turnaround over the last couple of seasons and a lot of that is thanks to Hamsik and Cavani. Both the players have been something of a myth to the team
and thanks to their outstanding work on the pitch; they have already become cult heroes at the club.
Cavani at the current moment in time also happens to be the leading goal scorer, in the Italian Serie A. He has also managed to take his brilliant World Cup form and successfully convert it into some more brilliant displays at club level.
The player seems to have managed to maintain his hot streak and form and is looking to perform even better in the future.
On the other hand, Hamsik is quite possibly one of the best wingers in the world. The player seems to have the ability to do just about everything on the football pitch. He can cross, dribble, take shots at goal with either foot and take
some deadly free kicks and corners as well. The player is quite simply the complete package and could prove to be just the perfect Ronaldo replacement at the club. Another reason for the manager pursuing Hamsik is the fact that Antonio Valencia has suffered
a horror leg break and is still not scheduled to be back till much later in the season, however if he does return there is no guarantee that the player will be performing at the same level that he used to  prior to his injury.
Despite that fact both the players would still prove to be more than worthy additions to the United side and with that being said it is now down to Ferguson to make the final move for the players that would ensure their futures at Old
Trafford.
