Manchester United manager, Alex Ferguson has revealed that he might not go crazy in January, as the manager is more than satisfied with the squad that he currently has at his disposal.
A number of critics and experts from across the globe have gone on to admit that it is high time for Ferguson to go on and make a number of signings in the January transfer window.
United had a very poor run in, over the course of the last couple of weeks and the team went on to fall out of the Carling Cup and from the Champions League.
Many believed that Ferguson was being a little too rigid and needed to change the way he was doing things. However, the manager has gone on to reveal that he would be more than happy to continue with his current squad.
Ferguson, when talking about his plans for the future is quoted to have said: “All things being equal I am perfectly happy with the strength of our squad in terms of depth, quality and age range.”
"I will not be swayed by the endless tweets and blogs urging the club to get busy in the transfer market next month.
"As far as I am concerned I am marching perfectly in step, true to my beliefs and principles. While recruiting some of the world's leading players can lift you into contention for honours, it doesn't necessarily take you all the way, as I hope we will be able to demonstrate before the end.”
It seems like Ferguson might either have a brilliant plan for United, or the manager might have actually lost the plot for the very first time in his career as United’s manager.
Nonetheless, Ferguson has almost never been wrong with the way he has approached the season with United.
His performances as United’s manager have been brilliant and it might be a little pre-mature to try and make judgmental comments about the manager just yet.
All in all, it is going to be a wait till the end of the season to see just how Ferguson manages to hold United together.
