Manchester United’s manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Ferguson has not given up on the title race and believes that his side could still win the Premier League.
Both City and United are currently sitting on the same number of points, but City’s superior goal difference has sent them one spot above United.
City went on to take on Newcastle United this past weekend and following a two goals to nil win, the team maintained their stance at the top of the table.
Despite the blue side of Manchester sitting in an ideal position to win the league this season, Ferguson still believes that his side can go on and win the title, given the unpredictable nature of the league this season.
The Red Devils boss, when talking about the situation and the possibility of his side winning the Premier League is quoted to have said: "I've seen stranger things happen in this game of football"

"But I think the important thing is for us to go there [Sunderland away] in the right spirit, with the attitude to win the match, you never know, we'll just hope.”
He then admitted that QPR needing a point to try and stay afloat in the Premier League would see them go all out against City and hence, just about anything could happen. However, he did feel that had Mark Hughes been part of the QPR squad, they would have
had a much better chance of winning, given the fact that Hughes is a former United player.

"It gives us hope, we've got next week, QPR need a point and you never know. I just wish Sparky [Mark Hughes] was playing."
United also went on to win their last home game of the season, as they strolled to victory past Swansea City.
Nonetheless, with both the teams from Manchester winning their games, it is now going to be down to the last day of the Premier League season to see just who goes on and wins the league.
IF City avoid any slip ups, they could win their first league title in over forty years, otherwise, United could claim their twentieth Premier League trophy.
