http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Hamish-Marshall-c1525 set the tone for the massive victory, with an impressive three-digit launch pad. Sharing an opening stand of 102 runs from 16.4 overs, to put the tourists well on course to an intimidating
40-overs total of 290 for 6. Nicol notched up 133 from 113 balls, while http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Marshall-c74817 struck 47 runs from as many deliveries.
“I'm really pleased with the win,” said Gidman while speaking to media persons after the victory. “…that partnership gave us a good platform and we managed to kick-on towards the end of the innings," he added further.
Due to heavy showers at the start of their run chase, the hosts were set a revised target of 237 runs from 28 overs, but lower order capitulation meant they could only manage 146 runs before being dismissed in the 22nd over.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Cameron-Borgas-c1212 was the only other notable performance, with 30 runs from 29 balls, while rest of the line up fell for scores inside 12.

The Gloucestershire skipper reckoned that the rain break also benefitted his side.
“Credit to Holland for the way started their innings,” said Gidman. “They really put us under pressure and we were lucky with the rain break to an extent because they gifted us a couple of wickets. It was a good game of cricket.”
The visiting skipper also had a word of praise for the VRA wicket that assisted his men to score runs at a faster pace.
“It was a good wicket, a quick-scoring ground and it turned out to be a real fight,” said the lanky middle-order batsman, who played an unbeaten cameo of 30 runs, off just 14 balls.
“I thought the wicket would get harder to bat on throughout the day…It didn't actually change that much,” he added further.
The 90-run win over Holland moved Gloucestershire up to second spot on CB40 Group A points table.
