Dunne and Collins have shown extraordinary progress under Alex McLeish and the Scotsman is pleased to see his experienced defenders performing so well.
McLeish told the reporters, "These are great players here. People were saying I was probably going to go back and sign Scott and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roger-c31516 but to be honest it was one position that wasn't a priority.”
The Scotsman believes that the Irish centre-back is enjoying the form of his life, while praising both the defenders and their contribution for the Villans in this season.
"Dunnie has been absolutely superb. The two centre-halves have been terrific,” the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Scotland-c756 manager added.

McLeish stated, "Over the last two weeks he has excelled at international level. His confidence is sky high and rightly so. He's at his peak. He has more years to come.”
The Villa boss has asserted that Dunne is an inspiration for rest of the squad and leads the team by giving his best. He also claimed that the Irish international has a bright future at Villa Park.
"Richard is a quiet man but he leads by example. He's a big inspiration for the players round about him," http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 McLeish concluded.
Richard Dunne, who joined Aston Villa from Manchester City in 2009, has featured in three Premier League fixtures this season. The Villans are currently placed sixth in the standings, with seven points to their name from five fixtures.
