Aston Villa manager Alex McLeish has bemoaned the Villans recklessness in front of goal after his side were held to 1-1 draw against Newcastle United at the Villa Park.
The Scotsman has rued his side carelessness in the final third as he believes that the Villans had a lot of golden chances to kill the game.

"Benty [Darren Bent] had a right good chance to make it 2-0 and it is not like him to miss those chances but he is only human," the former Birmingham boss added.
McLeish has expressed his satisfaction over the Villans’ extraordinary start against Newcastle United. The hosts dominated the play and looked the better side in the first half against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew’s men.

"We started in a blistering way. There was a good feeling after the first goal and we were opening them up and looked dangerous. Then we had a couple of problems with Petrov and Warnock and we lost a bit of momentum with these injuries," Alex McLeish concluded.
Aston Villa are currently unbeaten in the ongoing 2011/12 Barclays Premier League season. However, the Lions have won only one of their five fixtures and are currently placed sixth in the league standings with seven points.
