Arsenal forward, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain has admitted that he is now looking to build on his performance against Manchester United, as he looks to secure a starting role at the club.
Former Southampton attacker and now Arsenal’s first team member, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alex-c4752 Oxlade-Chamberlain went on to make his first start against Manchester United over the weekend and based on how he performed, he could easily become a regular starter at the club.
The eighteen year old went on to run the show for the Gunners on the left flank and almost never lost the ball. To top of his night, he went on to create Robin Van Persie’s equalizing goal, which gave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 hopes of picking up a point from the game.
When Wenger decided to take the player off with just sixteen minutes left on the clock, the entire stadium roared against the manager’s decision, while showing their appreciation for the youngster.
However, Chamberlain has admitted to not being affected by his substitution and has admitted to being more than happy to having started for Arsenal.
At the same time, the forward is looking to secure more first team football in the future, as he looks to make his way up the pecking order at the club.
When talking about his experience and the game, the forward is quoted to have said: "I was happy to get a start and obviously against opposition like Man United - it doesn't come any better than that"

"I guess it does [show that Wenger has faith in him] and that is a positive for me to take away, having the boss' trust. I've got to make sure I repay that with my performances, working hard in training and when I'm on the pitch.”

"Overall I was happy with my performance and happy to contribute to Robin's goal. It was positive for me and mentally it puts you in a good position.”
In just this one game, Chamberlain has looked to be a far more complete player than http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Theo-Walcott-c34873 has looked since his move to the Emirates.
According to most experts, if Chamberlain can maintain the same level of performances for Arsenal, he could easily go on and replace Walcott in the team’s starting eleven on a permanent basis.
