Alex Riley moves into top 5 WWE Superstar’s list this week
The WWE in concurrence with The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science has updated the Power 25 list for this week’s ranking. The second generation superstar of the Monday Night Raw, Alex Riley, moved to the Top 5 superstar’s list as the number fifth seed.
The Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science updated the list for this week on the basis of fights, overall momentum of the wrestler, in-ring abilities and nature of competitions during Monday Night Raw, Friday Night SmackDown and WWE Superstars.
According to the Power 25 list of WWE, The World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton is leading the current week’s rankings. The Viper, Randy Orton, pinned down Mark Henry and took the incredible victory over him after hitting The RKO for a three-count victory.
Orton’s fight took place during Friday Night SmackDown on July 1. If Mark Henry would win the fight, he would be made the number one contender for the World Title.
The Captain Charisma, Christian, from SmackDown's roster, is placed second in the Power 25 list. Christian was made the number one contender and he was also put into a fight against The Mexican Masked Marvel, Sin Cara. Christian became the first superstar
to break the winning-streak of Sin Cara. Christian beat Sin Cara after hitting his lifelong friend, Edge’s finishing move, Spear, for a three-count victory.
The June 27th edition of Monday Night Raw was not favourable for The WWE Champion, John Cena as he lost two things in this segment. Firstly, he lost his Non-Title Table Match to his former rival, R-Truth. The new number one contender, CM Punk
interrupted in this match that caused distraction for the WWE Champion. R-Truth took the advantage for that distraction and threw him on the table for victory. Secondly, The WWE Champion lost his first place in the Power 25 list this week. He was ranked 3rd by
the Academy of Wrestling Arts and Science.
The Angriest WWE Superstar, R-Truth, made another amazing upward jump in the WWE Rankings this week. He was ranked fourth in the Power 25 list, as we he was at the seventh place in the list, last week. As Truth won his match against The WWE Champion, Cena,
who is most powerful superstar on Monday Night Raw's roster, therefore, he stepped above in the Top 5 list as the number four seeded superstar.
The fifth place was given to the second generation superstar, Alex Riley. He teamed up with “The Ultimate Underdog, Rey Mysterio, during Monday Night Raw previous week and fought with his rival, The Miz, who teamed up with All-American American, Jack Swagger.
The team of Riley and Mysterio took the amazing victory over Miz and Swagger as desired by the WWE Universe. It caused Riley to be placed in the fifth spot from the sixth, in this week’s rankings.
