I was just wondering if that trade was reasonable or not.

  1. At this point that trade is pretty lopsided too the Manny and Haarang side.  Harden is a great pitcher but he's hurt FAR too often to consider him a legit ace.  He definately has ace ability, but that prone to injury tag hurts.  Rios hasnt really done much this year and there is no way that you can put him on the same level as Manny from a fantasy baseball standpoint.  Haarang isnt always dominant, but his offense seems to be heating up, and his strikeout numbers will certainly be there.

  2. whoever is getting harang and manny are getting the good side of the deal..........harden gets injured way to much and rios is slumping in 2008.........manny is a beast so yea

  3. It's a reasonable trade. Rios has been slumping, but he should turn it around. What he gives away with HRs to Manny, he'll get back with SBs. Harang hasn't been pitching that well this season, but he should turn it around as well. They're both strikeout pitchers. Harden has a track record of getting injured, but I wouldn't worry too much. Personally, I'd rather have Rios and Harden. Good luck!

  4. Manny is just now getting hot now that he's got that distraction of his 500th home run out of his way.  I'd much rather have him than Rios.  As for the pitchers, I'd take Harang any day, because Harden gets hurt far too much (although he is the better pitcher when he isn't on the DL).

  5. Whoever is getting Manny Ramirez and Aaron Harang is getting a good trade

  6. Manny Harang side is robbing the other team, Manny and Rios are the same to me but they are getting Harang for free just about because it is just a matter of when not if Harden will get hurt.

  7. Yes that is a good trade.  I love Harden when he's healthy but when has he shown that he can pitch a full season?  Never.

So do this trade you are essentially selling Harden High while he's healthy and buying Harang Low which is a good move.  Manny is Manny, he has proven time and time again that he can and will produce at will.

    Nice trade for you.
