The midfielder believes the strikers form has been exceptional and his contributions to the team have been immense so far this season.
The player made these comments following another brace scored by Van Persie, which helped the North London club over come Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League, as they won by two goals to one.
In doing so, Arsenal have gone ahead and ensured their progress to the knock out stages of the contest and are currently the only English side to have done so.
When talking about Van Persie, who is now sitting on thirty eight goals scored in 2011, is quoted to have said: “He’s unbelievable”
“He’s a very good player and it is a pleasure to play with him.
“In every single game he shows he is very important and we hope to have him not injured because when he is injured it is very difficult for us, and today, every single day, he is unbelievable.
“We just need to keep him in good form.”
Song himself was exceptional for Arsenal in the game against Dortmund. The midfielder hardly put a wrong foot in the game and seemed to be putting in one of the best performances of his life.
The midfielder also went on to create the first goal for the Gunners, after he beat three Dortmund players, before whipping in an inch perfect cross towards Van Persie’s head.
Many experts believe the Gunners won their game, due to the form Song was in and due to the contributions that he made during the game.
However, it would be wrong to credit Arsenal’s win to just two players. During the match, the entire team went on to produce a remarkable performance. Hardly anyone went on to have a massive fumble, or concede possession easily.
The Gunners defensive was on top of things throughout the game and their midfield was exceptional. The three forwards used their pace time and time again, as they constantly penetrated the Dortmund defence.
The form that Arsenal have managed to pick up is quite exceptional. The team seems to be capable of beating just about anyone around and this could prove crucial, as they look to try and pick up some form of silverware at the end of the season.
It is now going to be a wait to see just how Arsenal see out their season and if they finally put an end to their trophy drought or not.
