The full-back’s representative blasts the Vitesse management for excluding his client from training with the first-team while insisting that his client has always been a perfect sportsman and just wants to play football.
Alexander Buttner’s agent, Alexander Busac, has urged Vitesse Arnhem to finalise his client’s summer move away from GelreDome Stadion at the earliest, while stressing that his client is ready to take the next step in his career.
The talented left-back, who has been plying his trade at the Arnhem outfit since the summer of 2008, has long been linked with a move away from GelreDome Stadion this summer.
Southampton were the first to express interest in signing the 23-year-old in the ongoing summer transfer window before Fulham, Queen Park http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Everton-c39043 are also rumoured to be interested in acquiring his services before the
start of the 2012/13 campaign.
Nonetheless, reports in the Dutch media claim that the full-back would be joining the newly promoted English Premier League side in the coming days, as the two sides are on the verge of completing the deal.
Buttner’s move to the Saints is still far from materialising, but http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Vitesse-c40905 has decided to exclude him from the training sessions. And his agent has now blasted the club for not including his client in the training sessions.
“This situation is ridiculous. He has asked three times why this is the case but received no reply. I understand that they want to exert pressure on him, but they should do it in a different way. They are relying on an article
in the contract stating that he should be available for the first and second team, but they have given us no reason. If there is an employment issue, it has not been created by Alexander”, Busac was quoted as saying in an exclusive interview to Goal.com.
The left-back’s representative went on to insist that his client is ready to move away from GelreDome Stadion this summer to test his skills elsewhere.
“He has always been an exemplary sportsman. He just wants to play football right now and he is ready for the next step in his career”, Busac concluded.
