Pretty basic, what did Alexander Graham Bell's (inventor of the phone) first phone look like? Can you send me a picture link and explain it in words please.

  2. Actually the picture of the phone mentioned in the previous post is incorrect.

    Here is a link to the phone used to utter the first words.  This is only the transimitter that A.G. Bell spoke into.  Watson had a Gallows receiver that he listened on.  This first phone only worked in one direction.  In other words, Watson could not speak back to Bell.
