Alexander Hleb confirms that he will leave Birmingham City at the end of the 2010-11 season: EPL News
On-loan midfielder, Alexander Hleb, has told Birmingham City that he will not return to the club when his loan deal ends at the end of the 2010-11 season.

The 29-year-old joined Alex McLeish’s side on loan from Barcelona before the start of the current campaign. The mid-fielder has undergone a difficult time with the Blues despite having prior experience of playing in the Premier League.
The former VFB Stuttgart’s mid-fielder believes that his playing style is different to what they play at Birmingham and he will definitely not return to the club. Hleb was one of the main players during his Arsenal days and was known for his lovely
passing game with Cesc Fabregas and co. However, the mid-fielder believes that he found it so simple while playing for Barcelona or Arsenal but at Birmingham, there is not so much passing and you have to steal the ball from the opponent.
Talking to the reporters Hleb said, "Before, I think teams like Birmingham were easy to play with but it is difficult when you play in such teams, not like Arsenal or Barcelona. Here you need to just fight and run, not too much passing, and this for
me is something new.”
When quizzed about a possible return to Birmingham, he added, "Eh, no, no. I am happy and enjoy my time here, everything is good here, but this is a little bit not my way (style) of football. Barcelona is the biggest club in the world but it is difficult

However, he added that he enjoyed a new and different experience at the club and will give his 100 percent for the rest of the time he will stay at the St. Andrews.
The winger is desperate to return to Arsenal but he is unsure whether the club wants him or not. However, he added that he still loves Arsenal and he will try his best to return to the Emirates.
