Alexander Tarkhanov tips Rubin Kazan to win the UEFA Champions League clash against Dynamo Kyiv
Former Krylia Sovetov Samara head coach, Alexander Tarkhanov, believes Rubin Kazan can knockout Dynamo Kyiv by defeating the White-Blues in second leg of the UEFA Champions League third round qualifying fixture. Rubin won the first leg of the encounter by
scoring two goals away from home.
Tarkhanov is delighted with the Rubies’ performance against the Ukrainian Premier League giants at Dynamo Stadium. The manager believes that the Tatary can hold-on to the two goal cushion in the second leg by playing offensively.
Reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Russia-c2991 suggest that Rubin will play the 90 minutes defensively in order to retain the lead but the former CSKA Moscow manager denied such speculations by revealing that the Tatary believe in their manager, Kurban Berdyev, and will try to dominate
the game with the help of an attacking display at home.

The former Spartak Moscow manager heaped praise on Dynamo head coach, Yuri Semin, highlighting his offensive style of play during his time at Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Rubies were defeated in their recent league encounter against Anzhi Makhachkala, conceding thrice in the second half of the match. Tarkhanov believes that the defenders of the Russian club are psychologically affected by the defeat.
“In football, everything is possible. Although I said immediately after the first leg there are 99.9 percent chances of Rubin to progress but now Anzhi have created a negative factor, by knocking down the team psychologically. Now it depends upon how well
the Dynamo play in attack” The former FC Khimki coach concluded.
Tarkhanov insisted that Rubin need to perform well in defence and initiate quick counterattacks in order to retain the healthy advantage and progress to the later stages of the competition.
