  1. He actually spread a Hellenic culture throughout the Middle East that survived right up to the 15th century AD.

Many of the territories he conquered became centres of Greek language and learning, such as the empire of the Seleucids. Greek was the spoken language for centuries, and great cities like Alexandria and Antioch became the new cultural hubs, with the Great Library in particular housing the largest volume of recorded knowledge yet seen. The Olympic pantheon was also spread to these places, with the notable exception of Egypt, whose culture proved indomitable until the advent of Islam. The most widely-spread religion at the time, Zoroastrianism, was almost eradicated and Greek religion instated. Even Roman conquest didn't quite subdue the Greek culture; after the split of the Empire, the Eastern part came to be known as Byzantium, its language Greek rather than Latin, its emperors had names like "Alexandros" and its Christian church was Greek Orthodox, with a Patriarch rather than a Pope. This state of affairs came to a close with the fall of Constantinople to the Turks in 1453, and Islam reigned supreme in the region from then on.

  2. People might not remember what he said, but they sure is h**l remembered what he did.he was just before his time.

  3. according to my teacher, Alexander the Great, as you said earlier is a macedonian, and his father Philip II conquer Greece and Young Alexander the Great or Alexander III learned much in Greece, his favorite teacher is Aristotle and his favorite author is Homer... he loves the Hellenistic civilization... when he conquer some of the countries, he rules with this Hellenistic civilization but later on he adapt the culture of other countries, like Egypt where in the leader is considered God, he didn't change it... on Asian country where in they spent much wealth for ruling, he also do it... on government, Alexander didn't change much... only in culture, where in he applied the culture of Hellenic, Egypt, some European country and Asian countries
