FC Sochaux Montbeliard chairman Alexandre Lacombe has decided not to reconsider his stance on the future of influential playmaker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Marvin-Martin-c24496 who has been linked with a move away from the Stade Auguste Bonal this summer.
The 23-year-old midfielder took Ligue 1 by storm in the 2010/2011 campaign and ended the season as the top assist provider in the league with 17 assists to his name. The youngster further alerted top European clubs after making a lasting impression on his

However, chairman Lacombe is not willing to let go of his jewel this summer and despite the recent claims of the player desire to move on has ruled out a summer transfer.
While talking to French sports daily L’Equipe, the chairman said, “At the moment there is absolutely no offer. The Ligue 1 starts in about two weeks (August, 6, 2011) and my position has not changed. The boy is not for sale.”
Despite Martin’s recent claims of his desire to leave Sochaux this summer in order to seek a challenge at more prestigious club, it seems that the Les Lionceaux supremo is resolute on his stance and will give Martin’s suitors a hard time even if he is willing
to start negotiations in the future.
