http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Pato-c4901, the AC Milan striker has revealed he is interested in a move to the English Premier League and admitted his admiration for Champions League winners Chelsea.
The 22-year-old is contracted to the Serie A giants until the end of the 2013-2014 season and apparently has no intention of leaving before that. He has been linked with top European sides like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, Manchester City and Real Madrid.
Pato, however, seems to have his sights set on the London side, who won the FA Cup  and UEFA Champions League this past season. He revealed he was impressed by their Brazilian players http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ramires-c30523, having spoken to the former regarding Chelsea’s chances of winning the European trophy.
Pato said in an interview:
“I talk to David Luiz and I didn't really believe Chelsea would win it. But they have a tight group and they succeeded in doing what the greats want to do and win.”
Pato admitted he was initially not certain if the Blues would go on to win the Champions League, but he had been pleasantly surprised. Chelsea were accused of playing boring, defensive football but they managed to get the results against Bayern Munich in the final.

“I love English football. I have friends who play for Chelsea, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 and Manchester United. At the moment I have a real taste for playing in the UK, being in London with one month to go before the Olympics.”
However, Pato did not want anyone to get any ideas regarding his future at AC Milan. He confirmed he would be staying at the Serie A side to finish his existing contract after which he would consider his future.
Pato continued:
“My priority is to finish my contract in Milan. I have a lot to thank them for and my focus is to continue doing what I do, to bring joy to the fans in Milan and continue my contract until 2014. And then afterwards, who knows?”
