A.C Milan striker, Alexandre Pato, has admitted that he is happy at the club and wants to remain at San Siro for his entire playing career.
Pato has constantly been linked with a move to several top European clubs including http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Napoli-c40003, which would see their star midfielder, Marek Hamsik going the other way.
After winning his first major trophy for the club in the form of Scudetto, the Brazilian now wants to win major silverware for the Rossoneri. Milan won the 2010/11 Serie A and ended a seven year drought of failing to win the league. Pato played a huge part in the win and scored 14 goals in 25 league appearances. The 21-year-old has now set his sights on winning the Coppa Italia and UEFA Champions League for Milan.
Talking to the reporters Pato said, ''At Milan, we want to win everything. I want to become a pillar of this club and will never leave here."
"I want to become a symbol of Milan's history, becoming one of those players who left great memories and trophies. I have a contract until 2014 and I want to remain with Milan for as long as possible, at least until they get tired of me. Now I want to continue to win because the league is just the beginning of a string of triumphs. Now we are waiting for Italian Super Cup, the Serie A and the Champions League and I want to win everything.”
The Brazilian international heaped praise on his club manager, Massimiliano Allegri, and hailed him as a champion character. Pato added that the tactician has proved to the world that he is a winner, as he won the Scudetto in his first managerial year for the Rossoneri.
Pato joined Milan from Brazilian outfit http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Internacional-c39573 in 2007 and since then, he has scored 50 goals in 101 appearances for the Italian Champions.
