The Rossoneri have recently sold two of their best players Thiago Silva and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Zlatan-Ibrahimovic-c38029 to Paris Saint-Germain, and the decision has not been well received by the fans.
Moreover, the two gigantic transfers come at a time when the former Champions have already lost the likes of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Filippo-Inzaghi-c13777 at the end of the 2011-12 season.
The mass exodus of some of the most important members of the Diavolo squad, has caused many to write of the Italian giants from the next season’s list of Scudetto contenders.

Pato was of the view that this is not the first time that AC Milan have lost some of their most important players, and maintained that just like in the past the club will continue to remain competitive in the league.

The Brazilian international was all praise for Ibrahimovic, but maintained that the Milanello has the potential to do well despite his absence.
While talking to the Gazzetta dello Sport, the 22-year-old said:
"Milan have always been a team of winners, even after they lost some high-profile names. I am convinced that we can fight for the Scudetto again this time, too. We are strong in every position and I'm confident we'll do well. Ibrahimovic is a great champion and he has done some very good things for the club. However, I think we can cope with his departure." He added.
