The Rossoneri head-coach confirms that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Brazil-c2858 international will miss the remainder of the season; buoyed with Antonio Cassano’s return
AC Milan manager, Massimiliano Allegri, has lent support to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alexandre-Pato-c4901, whose injury nightmare continues.
The Brazilian’s season has been marred by several injury concerns, and the latest setback has ruled him out of the season. Pato made a return from injury against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 recently, after he came on as a 69th minute
substitute. However, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Internacional-c39573 striker’s stay on the pitch was cut short to just 13 minutes, as he treaded off the field after recurrence of the muscle injury.
Allegri has showed sympathy toward the striker, and is hopeful that he will overcome the injury problems before the start of the next season.
While talking to the reporters, Allegri said:
“I saw him again this morning; he is being treated and is trying to return as soon as possible. We are all sorry for these injuries; he is a boy of 22. However, I always want to see things positively and I think that a bit of tranquillity,
with some re-education and a little more attention.”
Milan have some good news on the injury front, as they welcome http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302 back to the team after a lengthy layoff. The Rossoneri striker suffered a minor heart attack in October 2011, and had to undergo a surgery. The doctors
have given the green light to the striker to start playing again, and he will start from the bench against Fiorentina.
Allegri is delighted with the return of the former AS http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roma-c31603 star, and insisted that his presence will benefit the Champions a lot.
“Antonio is fine physically, of course for what he can be in his condition. He has so much class and this can compensate for a lack of shape. Will he be picked tomorrow? I will decide after [training], but there is a good chance
he will be called up and on the bench.”
Milan will take on Fiorentina in matchday 31 game of the season on Saturday, 07 April. The Rossoneri currently lead the league standings with a two-point advantage over Juventus.
