Alexis Sanchez Considers A Move To England
Alexis Sanchez, the Chilean attacking midfielder, said he would like to move to England after sources revealed that the player has been linked with Manchester United for a while now. Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson admitted that he had been tracking
the 21 year old for several months now and would consider making a bid for the player.
The interest in Sanchez is justified; the young Chile international usually plays on the right but possesses the ability to play across the entire front line. He is a creative player who excels in dribbling, his pace and passion have made him the number
one target for United in the January transfer window. There is no wonder Ferguson is determined to land the player at Old Trafford.
Sanchez has been at Udinese since the year 2007; the player is reportedly happy at the Serie A side and has been doing well. The player’s agent said that Sanchez plans to stay with Udinese currently, however, Manchester United are still chasing the 21 year
old. There is a big possibility that the player may very well be on his way to United during the summer.
Fernando Felicevich, Sanchez’s agent, said while speaking to reporters, “Manchester United has been following the performances of Alexis since some time ago and it could be a possibility in the future. The Premier League would be a good destination for Alexis
as he is young, strong and very fast, something very important for being able to have success in that league.”
Since Sanchez himself has indicated that he would like a move to England, it only suggests he is considering a move to Manchester United. This season Sanchez has scored one goal and provided two assists so far. If he continues with his good form then he
is predicted to be scoring more goals and contributing with more assists as the season goes on.
