Premier League outfit, Manchester United.
Barca have offered 38 million Euros for the Udine starlet while it is understood that the English outfit has offered a higher bid than the Spaniards. However, both the clubs have failed to impress the Italians and the Friuli outfit are keen to get a higher
bid from either of the two parties.
The Zebrette President, Giampaolo Pozzo, recently talked to the reporters of the Spanish newspaper AS. The patron emphasized on what his club expects to get for the versatile winger and while answering questions, he said:
“Is €50m not too much? No, it doesn’t seem enough. I have no doubt that if he stayed with us for another year he would be worth even more than that. He’s the best player of his generation. He’s like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 when he was 22. We look after hundreds
of players, we’ve been in this business for some time and we know when we have a diamond. Alexis Sanchez is one. If a club wants him then they will have to pay his price in full and that is €50m.”
Recently, the Udinese prized possession Sanchez, revealed his intentions to move out to the Spanish giants if he gets the chance to. In this regard, Pozzo continued and said:
“He’s the cherry on the cake which Pep Guardiola is missing, a player who can make the difference. When you buy someone you shouldn’t just look at his price tag.”
Furthermore, Pozzo revealed that Manchester City are the frontrunners at the moment as they have placed the closest bid at 45 million Euros. The Zebrette are waiting until the end of the ongoing summer transfer window and they are in no rush to sell out
the most wanted player in Europe at the moment.
